Another Night at Port Deposit

Norfolk Southern 596, a unit coal train, tripped the high-and-wide detector west of Port Deposit, Maryland, on the Port Road Branch.

This resulted in a delay to the train and provided some night photography opportunities in the village of Port Deposit. When the train paused waiting for its conductor to return to the headend, I had the opportunity to set up my tripod and work with a lower ISO for better data capture.

I made these images using my Nikon Z6-III with a 50mm f/1.4 lens.
