Sometimes it’s nice to get a freight fix.

On the way back from Virginia, we paused along the old Main Line—Norfolk Southern’s Pittsburgh Line—at SIP 116 in Cove, Pennsylvania.

We were not disappointed, nor did we have to wait long. In the course of 40 minutes, we saw several freight trains. An eastward double-stack train came to a stop for a crew change near where we had parked, which offered the added bonus of allowing us to make meet photos.
