Sunset Glow at Washington Boro.

Since through freights tend to run in the evening, the long days offer excellent opportunities for photography on the Port Road Secondary. That proved true last week when we found the signals lined for an eastbound freight as the glow of sunset illuminated the western sky.

Working with my Z6-III with 50mm f1.4, I made these photos near Washington Boro, Pennsylvania.

Here’s a special bonus—Norfolk Southern 4876 working as a DPU!
I’m happy that the track crew left a key compositional element in the foreground.
