Fresh foliage and soft Spring sun in a pastoral setting made for idylic timeless images of No. 89 working Strasburg Rail Road’s midday excursion to Paradise and back.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve photographed steam locomotives along the Strasburg Rail Road from dozens of angles. Despite the familiarity of the subject, every visit yields different photographs and I never tire of listening to the locomotives at work.

I made these images with my Nikon Z cameras.
