In November 2008, I made this photo of Pennsylvania Railroad 44-Ton diesel 9331 in midday light at Strasburg. This locomotive had worked Strasburg Rail Road since before I was born. I’ve read that it left the property in 2013 for a new home in Maryland.

More than fifty years earlier, my father photographed a similar locomotive (9347) working Philadelphia waterfront street trackage.
