On a frosty morning I felt it would be nice to look at a warm evening.
From New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Valley I’m posting this view of Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner at San Clemente Pier on Calilfornia’s Surf Line.
I exposed this view in November 2018 using my FujiFilm XT1.

Circa 2010 the travel section of the Chicago Tribune featured the Pacific Coast ‘Surfliner.”
The article prompted my wife and I to book tickets from Santa Barbara to San Diego.
The Tribune article placed its emphasis on the unending views of the Pacific Ocean, which we enjoyed immesurably.
What it didn’t report is that once we entered Los Angeles County we had a wonderful look at industrial LA. (At that point my wife took out her New Yorker, disregarding my enthusiasm of this portion of the ride).
When we entered Orange County we again saw the ocean again.
I relished the entire trip, and so did my wife with one caveat.
