Kings Cross-May 3, 2016

On this day nine years ago, I photographed London’s Kings Cross station using my Panasonic Lumix LX7. Recently, I converted the RAW file using DxO PureRaw to improve the photograph and correct for lens defects.

Lumix Raw file converted to DNG format using DxO PureRaw.

Charing Cross Vignettes

We spent nearly a week at the Clermont Hotel that is physically part of London’s historic Charing Cross Station.

In our wanders around the neighborhood, I made these photos of the railway station and its environs.

Photos were exposed digitally using my Nikon and Lumix cameras.

New Oxford Station

Driving west on Highway 30, Kris and I passed the old Western Maryland station at New Oxford, Pennsylvania.

On the way back, we stopped for a few minutes to walk Boomer-the-dog and make a few photos of the historic station and environs.

Someday, I’d like to return to catch a CSX freight rolling by the old station.

Photos exposed using a Nikon Z6 with 70-200mm Z-series zoom.
