Here’s recent view with the Lumix. All that blue sky confused my exposure!

Lots of BNSF AC4400s at Los Angeles Union Station working the LA-end of Metrolink trains.

    Really nice shot! Union Station is beautiful. I’m not sure how long you’re in the area, but the Pomona Amtrak/Metrolink station is another great location to shoot some photos. Lots of Union Pacific action, just about any day of the week. I took a few photos myself here.
