Mifflin, Pennsylvania is a classic location on the old Pennsylvania Railroad.
I’ve visited here intermittently since Conrail days.
A couple of weeks ago, Pat Yough and I made these photos of Norfolk Southern trains passing Mifflin. I exposed these using my FujiFilm X-T1 with 90mm f2.0 lens of westward symbol freight 21T.
1st photo could be a view on a first-class model railroad. Excellent! This is so PA.
Mifflin was as far as we got. We needed to return to the Trenton area for more adventures the next day. It was my first visit to the old Middle Division in several years.
How far west did you go? Any trip would be incomplete without a stop in Huntingdon. TSH
