For a while now, I’ve eyed the Church Street bridge over Amtrak’s Harrisburg Line in Landisville, Pa.,

We often use this road while running errands.

Last week, we paused in Landisville to order a pizza. While waiting to collect our pie, I checked the ASMTRANSITDOCS.com app on my phone and saw that Amtrak Keystone 670 was just a few minutes away.

I dropped the pizza with Kris, who was waiting in the car. “This will only take a couple of minutes.”

I walked briskly to the bridge, Nikon Z in hand. I arrived in just enough time to check the northside and southside angles before I heard the approaching train.

I opted for these down-on trailing views that show the curve in the line.

On reflection, I realized how few photos I have of the ACS-64 electrics from above.

Total elapsed time for this detour was less than five minutes. The pizza was still hot!
