Some nights, we catch a Norfolk Southern unit coal train working east on the Port Road Branch toward Perryville, Maryland, en route to Baltimore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One night, about two weeks ago, we caught not one, but three unit coal trains!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the first one we saw, approaching the intermediate automatic signals near milepost 35 in Washington Boro, PA. The next one wasn’t far behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
