For a while now, I’ve eyed the Church Street bridge over Amtrak’s Harrisburg Line in Landisville, Pa.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often use this road while running errands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, we paused in Landisville to order a pizza. While waiting to collect our pie, I checked the ASMTRANSITDOCS.com app on my phone and saw that Amtrak Keystone<\/em> 670 was just a few minutes away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I dropped the pizza with Kris, who was waiting in the car. \u201cThis will only take a couple of minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I walked briskly to the bridge, Nikon Z in hand. I arrived in just enough time to check the northside and southside angles before I heard the approaching train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I opted for these down-on trailing views that show the curve in the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On reflection, I realized how few photos I have of the ACS-64 electrics from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Total elapsed time for this detour was less than five minutes. The pizza was still hot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
