Ocean crossing Lachine Canal."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On October 24, 2004, I used my Contax G2 rangefinder fitted with a 45mm Zeiss lens to capture VIA Rail&#8217;s <em>The<\/em> <em>Ocean <\/em>(from Halifax) crossing the Lachine Canal at Wellington on approach to Montreal Central Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cool weather and a still morning contributed to the mirror-like surface on the canal water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lead locomotive was an F40PH-2 painted to advertise the motion picture Spiderman-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
