A month ago, Kris and I adopted at Labradoodle puppy. His name is Seamus. Over the last few weeks we’ve been gradually introducing him to railroading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other evening we brought him to Christiana, PA., where the old PRR freight house maintained by the Lancaster Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society offers a safe environment to watch passing trains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seamus sensed our anticipation of Amtrak’s westward Keystone <\/em>(train 649) and watched with fascination as it raced by us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After it had gone he kept staring at the line, hoping the stainless steel beast would come by again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
