During April 2022, on an official tour of Irish Rail’s Inchicore Works, I had the opportunity to make photos of locomotives and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having been away from Ireland for several years, one of the things that struck me during my week-long visit was the variety of paint liveries on Irish Rail equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its really a pretty colorful railway!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made these images using my Lumix LX7, which was my primary camera during this trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lumix is compact & lightweight, but versatile and capable of extremely highquality photos despite its small size. It’s Leica lens is extraordinarily sharp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
