{"id":29885,"date":"2020-09-25T06:47:27","date_gmt":"2020-09-25T10:47:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/briansolomon.com\/trackingthelight\/?p=29885"},"modified":"2020-09-25T06:47:27","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T10:47:27","slug":"frankenstein-foliage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/briansolomon.com\/trackingthelight\/frankenstein-foliage\/","title":{"rendered":"Frankenstein Foliage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>September 24, 2020: I made my way to Frankenstein trestle on the former Maine Central Mountain Division to photograph Conway Scenic Railroad&#8217;s <em>Mountaineer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The autumn foliage has almost  reached its peak brilliance near the bridge. The leaves are turning early this year, probably because of drought conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made these photos using my FujiFilm XT1. Output is the camera JPG with Velvia color profile. Other than scaling for internet, I did not adjust for color, contrast, or exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If all goes well, I&#8217;ll be back up on the mountain today. The conditions look to be warm, bright and dry in New Hampshire&#8217;s White Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\"
