For more than 25 years, New England Central\u2019s gold and navy GP38s have worked the former Central Vermont line. These have been a common site around the railroad\u2019s Palmer, Massachusetts hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought of that bitterly cold February 1995 morning when I made my first New England Central photos as I exposed these views last week under decidedly more pleasant conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
