May 1985."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In May 1985, I\u2019d traveled on Amtrak\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Crescent<\/em>&nbsp;to Atlanta for a visit with my cousins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the railway photographs I made on this trip using my father\u2019s Rollei Model T was this view of the MARTA heavy rail rapid transit system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is one of only a rare few photos of Atlanta\u2019s transit system in my collection, and until now remained unseen and unappreciated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
