Working with my Lumix LX7 I made these three evening glinty views of Irish Rail trains to and from Cork at Dublin\u2019s Heuston Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always loved the soft orange glow of filtered evening light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where\u2019s the filter you ask? It\u2019s in the sky. A mix of clouds and pollution\u2014particulates and other stuff\u2014alters the spectral qualities of the setting sun by pushing the color balance toward the red-orange end of the spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
