when we heard an old EMD grinding away up CN&#8217;s Byron Hill south of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I still didn&#8217;t know what to expect when I first spotted a mustard yellow machine belching black smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a Loram ballast cleaner on the move!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that was unexpected!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
