Yesterday, 7 April 2018, Railway Preservation Society of Ireland in conjunction with Irish Rail operated its The Branchline Wanderer.<\/p>\n

This covered several lightly traveled lines, including the Waterford-Limerick Junction section, which was a favorite of mine in years gone by.<\/p>\n

The trip was well patronized. Despite wildly varying weather, I found numerous opportunities for interesting photos of RPSI\u2019s train, its crew and passengers, and the places we visited.<\/p>\n
