To mark my twenty years photographing Irish Railways, I’m posting images of each of Irish Rail’s 201-class General Motors diesels in numerical order.<\/p>\n

A dozen years ago, I wouldn\u2019t have found anything noteworthy in my photos of Irish Rail 205 at work. But that\u2019s part of the point of this exercise.<\/p>\n

You never know which photos will become interesting over time. The common becomes unusual; the normal become curious; the routine will seem exciting.<\/p>\n
