This is a follow up to my Tracking the Light<\/a> post of December 23, 2016<\/a>,\u00a0where I explained that on Wednesday December\u00a021, 2016, Otto Vondrak sent me the sad news that the old station at Berlin, Connecticut had been gutted by fire.<\/p>\n

This was reported as a \u2018total loss.\u2019<\/p>\n

I generally avoid accidents, derailment sites, and fires. However, a few weeks ago, I decided I should take a look at the remains of the Berlin station before the scene was made unrecognizable.<\/p>\n

This was not an easy photo to make. I have a lot of happy memories of this place. Exposed in January 2017 on film using my Nikon F3.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
