The Wellington Testimonial in the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Phoenix Park\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=53.36,-6.325&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=53.36,-6.325 (Phoenix%20Park)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Phoenix Park<\/a> is believed to be the tallest obelisk in Europe. In the mid-19<sup>th<\/sup> century, when the railway line was built below the park, engineers were concerned that if the line\u00a0 passed to near the monument, it might undermine the massive structure.
