It was exactly five years ago (August 11, 2011) that Pat Yough and I were chasing a westward freight on the Wheeling & Lake Erie.<\/p>\n

Among the unusual locomotives operated by this line are some former Southern Railway high-hood GP35s riding on Alco trade-in trucks.<\/p>\n

The attraction of this bridge was that it was still lettered for the old Pittsburgh & West Virginia.<\/p>\n
