I can’t say its a first; but it is the first time in awhile that I’ve been on Amtrak 448 (Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited) when it departed Albany-Rensselaer station precisely on schedule\u20143:05pm.<\/p>\n

Things have certainly improved. Hooray for Amtrak!<\/p>\n

I was among the first passengers to board Amtrak 448. Instead of running as a through train Chicago to Boston, the Boston section starts in Albany.<\/p>\n
