Located in the north of France, Metz is an industrial city with a long history.<\/p>\n

I’ll admit, I’d never given the place much thought until I had to change trains there in late April (2016).<\/p>\n

Not only was the old city centre visually fascinating, but the railway station is a real gem!<\/p>\n

That’s the great part about exploring without an agenda; you find wonderful things you really didn’t expect to see!<\/p>\n

I made these images over the course of my brief visit using my Lumix LX7 and FujiFilm X-T1 digital camera (fitted with 12mm Zeiss Touit lens).<\/p>\n
