Today, the\u00a0Emerald Isle Express<\/em> began\u00a0its second annual run working from Dublin Connolly Station to Rosslare Strand, and then empty carriages across the rarely used South Wexford line via Wellingtonbridge to Waterford.<\/p>\n

The train was\u00a0sponsored by Rail Tours Ireland in cooperation with the Railway Preservation Society Ireland and Irish Rail.<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful day, and I made dozens of fine photographs. I’ll post more tomorrow! Stay tuned.<\/p>\n
