I wasn’t actually in the water, but standing on a rock. Two things: at the time of the photo the water was exceptionally low, the lowest I’ve seen it in a long time; the other is that getting to where I was standing really wasn’t easy owing to the brush, briars, and rocky marshy terrain. It is about a 10-15 minute fight through the brush from the road bridge on the east side of the river. Boots would make it easier. The light is only good for a few hours in the morning. By 11 am, it gets a bit nosy.

A beautiful shot! Were you in the water for this? I’d love to get up to see that bridge with a train passing over as you did. I am sure you did your homework to get that shot !
